One of the signs of Qiyaamat

One of the signs of Qiyaamat (The Coming of the Last Day) is that children will become the cause of heartache to their parents. This we have already seen has become a reality. Nowadays we find very few children who truly respect and obey their parents. Sadly, many children today regard their parents as a burden, especially in their old-age.

Seek Allāh's Assistance

Hazrat Jabir (RadiAllahu Anhu) reported that Rasoolullah (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, ‘Man does not know what has been created for him. When Allah wills to create a human, Allah says, ‘Record (Write) his sustenance, record his foot prints, write the time of his death and write his goodness or badness!’ Allah then sends an Angel that protects him.

Convey my Salam to the Noble Prophet ﷺ

Question: What is the ruling of Shari'ah (Islamic Law) on saying, "Convey my Salams to the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam)"? Is it an Innovation (Bid'ah) ? Please guide us shedding some light in this context.

Answer: A person is allowed to ask someone traveling to the noble grave of the Beloved Prophet of Allah to give his greetings if he is unable to physically go himself. There is sufficient evidence that the Tabi’un would do this and therefore censoring it is erroneous as the reader shall notice from the below quotes of the great Imams of Hadith.

Adopt the Sunnah of Wearing Turban

AlaHadrat Mawlana Shah Imam Ahmad Rida Khan (Alayhir Rahmah) stated: “The grandson of Sayyiduna Umar Farooq-e-Azam (Radi Allahu Anhu), Sayyiduna Saalim (Radi Allahu Anhu) said,
“I came to my father Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) who was tying the turban. Having tied his turban, he (Radi Allahu Anhu) looked at me and asked, “Do you like to wear turban?” I replied, “Why not!”

Visualize Your Grave

Hazrat Abu Dardah (RadiAllahu Anhu) reported that a person asked him, ‘Bless me with such knowledge by the virtue of which Almighty Allah will give me benefit in the hereafter.’ He said, ‘Visualise the moment when your grave which is 4 hand lengths long and 2 hand lengths wide (is prepared for you) and your family members and your brothers, who could never bear being away from you, placing you inside (your grave) and placing bricks over you.

The Stomach Of The Grave

Bilal bin Sa’ad Radi Allahu Anhu reported, ‘Every day the grave calls out (saying), ‘I am a house of transit, insects, worms and terror, and either a garden from the gardens of Jannat or an abyss from the abysses of Jahannam.’ When a believing person is placed in his grave, the grave talks to him from beneath him and she says to him, ‘By Allah!  I even loved you when you walked on my back and now you have entered my stomach. Now that you have been given in my care, observe how well I will treat you.’ Thereafter, the grave expands for him, to the distance of his vision.  When an unbeliever is placed in the grave, she says, ‘By Allah!  I hated you even when you walked on my back and now that you have been given in my control, observe how I will deal with you.’ The grave then presses him so intensely that his ribs are totally crushed.’
